  • Bonnie Y. Sawusch has been appointed to serve on the Ethical Issues Committee of the American Burn Association.

  • Governor Jennifer Granholm appointed Thomas J. Wuori to serve on the board of the Michigan Board of Counseling as one of four public members. The Board oversees the practice of approximately 6,487 counselors. Mr. Wuori's term expires June 30 of 2010. Halpert, Weston, Wuori and Sawusch lawyers have a significant interaction with mental health professionals, many of whom provide essential services to our clients.
